MICALITE® is a high quality cast acrylic product that is made from a material known as polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), which is a type of plastic that is known for its clarity, strength, and durability. Our sheets are produced using a process known as casting, in which liquid PMMA is poured into a mold and then allowed to cure and harden.

MICALITE® cast acrylic sheet is a consistent and with a tight thickness tolerance throughout, with no bubbles or inclusions. They also have a high level of optical clarity, allowing for excellent light transmission and minimal distortion. Additionally, MICALITE® cast acrylic products are resistant to UV light, chemicals and impact. They can be used for a wide range of applications, such as signage, displays, and lighting fixtures

Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility
keeps a strict focus on quality control, performed across multiple levels to maintain high quality standards. In an effort to look out for the environment our bespoke production processes are highly efficient, resulting in a non-toxic pure material which has an extended life-cycle, and is 100% recyclable.

Clear Cast Acrylic

MICALITE® clear Cast acrylic is known for its clarity, strength, and durability, making it a popular choice for a wide range of applications. Some key points include:
  • High level of optical clarity: MICALITE® Cast Acrylic has a high level of optical clarity (92% light transmittance), which means that it does not significantly distort or change the color of light passing through it. This makes it an excellent choice for applications where visibility and clarity are important, such as in displays, signs, and lighting fixtures.
  • Durability: MICALITE® Clear Cast Acrylic is a strong and durable material that is resistant to UV light, and chemicals, making it suitable for a wide range of outdoor and indoor applications.
  • UV stabilized: MICALITE® Clear Cast Acrylic is UV resistant which means it will not yellow or degrade when exposed to UV light over time. This makes it suitable for use in outdoor applications where it will be exposed to sunlight.
  • Lightweight: MICALITE® Cast Acrylic is lightweight, making it easy to handle and install
  • Easy to fabricate: MICALITE® Cast Acrylic is easy to fabricate and can be cut, routed, bent, and thermoformed to create a wide range of shapes and designs, making it ideal for use in a variety of different applications.
  • Cost-effective: MICALITE® Cast Acrylic is a cost-effective material, particularly when compared to glass, making it an attractive option for a wide range of applications

Opal/Milky Cast Acrylic Sheet

Micalite® Opal/ Milky Cast Acrylic Sheet is characterized by its milky white color and its ability to allow light to pass through with excellent light diffusion.
  • Designed to diffuse light evenly across its surface, preventing hotspots.
  • Formulated to be UV resistant, which helps maintain its optical clarity and prevent yellowing over time.
  • It can be easily cut, shaped, and fabricated into various sizes and shapes, making it adaptable to different lightbox designs and requirements.

Translucent And Intransparent Colors

Translucent and Intransparent Cast Acrylic colors are a versatile and durable option for a wide range of applications. They offer a unique combination of properties that make them suitable for use in a variety of different settings.
  • MICALITE® Translucent Cast Acrylic comes in a variety of colors, including white, red, blue, green, yellow, and more. These materials allow light to pass through them while diffusing the light, making them an excellent choice for lighting fixtures and other applications where light diffusion is desired. They are also UV stabilized and easy to fabricate.
  • MICALITE® Intransparent Cast Acrylic comes in a range of colors and shades, including black, gray, brown, and more. These materials are perfect for applications that require a high level of opacity, such as displays and signs. They are also UV stabilized, easy to fabricate and easy to clean.

Matt Cast Acrylic

MICALITE® Matt surface cast acrylic sheets have a textured, non-glossy finish on side and standard gloss on the other. This is achieved by a special mold during the manufacturing process, and it results in a surface that is less reflective and reduced-glare.
  • Low reflection
  • Durability: harder than glass, UV stabilized, and resistant to chemicals
  • Colorful: MICALITE® Matt acrylic sheets are available in any of our full range of colors.

Specialty Cast Acrylic

MICALITE® produces some specialty cast acrylic products that are unique and custom-designed materials with enhanced properties for specific applications, such as impact resistance, cross linked,  and more.
